# Tracking Auditor

> Tracking Auditor is an analytics auditing and tracking validation platform. It helps organisations identify tracking errors, missing events, duplicate tracking, consent architecture gaps, and measurement failures across GA4 and Google Tag Manager implementations - improving confidence in analytics and conversion reporting.

## What it does

Tracking Auditor performs automated audits of the full digital analytics stack:

- **GTM Container Governance**: tags, triggers, variables, consent mode v2 compliance, UA legacy tags, sandbox/test tags in production, Conversion Linker configuration
- **GA4 Property Configuration**: streams, key events, enhanced measurement, consent signals, attribution settings
- **GA4 Data Quality**: spam referrals, channel attribution, ecommerce funnel integrity, duplicate purchase events
- **Consent & Cookie Architecture**: CMP detection, consent mode signal flow, cookie classification

Audits are scored across five dimensions (Consent 30%, GTM Governance 20%, GA4 Event Quality 20%, Cookies 15%, Conversion Integrity 15%) and graded A–F overall. Results export to Google Sheets (full audit trail) and Google Docs (client-ready report). Audits are region-aware: consent scoring adapts to the privacy regime that applies (UK/EU GDPR opt-in vs US state opt-out).
